Research direction
I am narrowing a doctoral direction around robotics and path-planning algorithms. The immediate work is exploratory: comparing search strategies, studying how planners respond to changing constraints, and identifying an evaluation question that is both useful and defensible.
Engineering
Building small, inspectable planning experiments in Python and mapping how simulation, ROS-oriented workflows, experiment tracking, and clear visual diagnostics can support the research question.
Reading
Classical and incremental path-search algorithms.
Motion planning under dynamic or partially observed constraints.
Multi-agent planning, task allocation, and reproducible robotics benchmarks.
Publication record
The existing publications come from my master's-era work on machine learning and SAR ship analysis. I am keeping that work visible as a completed research foundation while the next line matures.
